GROUNDWORK IS DONE
Molly Ferguson has built a unique community of 35 lakefront owners who are dedicated, by covenant, to sustain the natural beauty of their private preserve for future generations.
These cottage estates are buffered by a private forest wilderness which Molly has nurtured and managed for over 45 years. Richly forested with mature hardwoods and evergreens, it shelters a profusion of wildlife.

HUNDREDS OF HOURS
Molly has spent hundreds of hours consulting with architects, planners, builders, forestry experts and local officials exploring all the possibilities for the property. She can tell you the wide range of appropriate economic uses allowed in the Haliburton Official Plan and how they will encourage entrepreneurs, innovators and visionaries.

FERGUSON PROPERTIES' FOREST WILDERNESS IS A MANAGED FOREST
As a managed forest, Ferguson Properties' forest is a sustainable forest that undergoes continuous, long-term improvement of its timber quality and bio-diversity. This management includes harvesting according to SmartWood guidelines by certified foresters.
(See website www.smartwood.org for more information about SmartWood.)

WHAT IS SUSTAINABILITY?
Sustainability is not just keeping a forest intact, it applies to all nature within an environment — forest, wildlife, fish, birds, water, soil fertility, clean air, aesthetics, recreational values AND it includes human sustainability — striking a balance with the human need to live in the natural environment too.

TAX INCENTIVE
